Dear Artist

Congratulations! Our juror Claudia Grau, has accepted the following work(s) for the Fashionistas Show juried exhibition at Orange County Center for Contemporary Art (March 6 – April 18, 2008):

Please send us the work(s) as soon as possible. Please read and comply with the following instructions that apply to your situation:

Hand-delivered work must be brought to the gallery February 26, 27, and 28th (1PM to 4 pm).

Shipped work must arrive no later than February 27. Gallery is only open for receiving shipments Thursday thru Saturday (1 am to 4 pm).

Ship work by UPS, in reusable containers.
(Any work arriving packed in Styrofoam peanuts will not be accepted and will be returned to the artist.)

Liabilities and Conditions: OCCCA does not insure artwork. Your signed entry form releases and discharges OCCCA from any and all claims occasioned by loss or damage of said works while in OCCCA’s possession. Artists are responsible for obtaining their own insurance if required.

Wall hung work must be ready to hang with wire, hooks, or other appropriate means. Work that is not ready to hang will not be exhibited.

Installation work must be installed by artist. Any mannequins included in piece must be provided by artists.

All work will be offered for sale unless indicated by “NFS.” OCCCA retains a 30% commission on the sale of non-member works sold during the exhibition. Please make sure your prices include 30%, your labels will state the prices you send in.

Return of Artwork: Ask your carrier what the cost is to return your packages from OCCCA to you. Purchase return shipping labels and include them when sending your artwork. Any work received without prepaid shipping will be returned C.O.D. (If special shipping arrangements are required, please email: nfo.occca@gmail.com)
Pick up hand-delivered work on Sunday, April 18 between 12:00 pm and 3 pm. Work not picked up by these dates will be subject to a $5.00 per day storage fee. No work can be removed during the duration of the exhibition. Any work left over 30 days becomes the property of OCCCA.

The Reception is Saturday, March 7th, 6 pm to 10 pm. The juror Claudia Grau is scheduled to be in attendance. We hope that you and your family and friends will be able to attend this exciting event. Call us at 714-667-1517 if you have any questions and once again, congratulations!
