Visual Morphology
Paintings by Brennan Roach
September 6 - September 27, 2025
Art Walk Reception: September 6th, 6-10pm
Visual Morphology is an exploration of form and composition shaped by subconscious impulse and associative thought. Guided more by discovery than intention, each painting Roach creates begins in a childlike, intuitive state through raw marks and spontaneous gestures. Roach gradually shifts these initial abstractions into recognizable or semi-recognizable forms, resulting in organically emerging compositions blurring the line between abstract and familiar.
Brennan Roach is an artist and musician born and raised in Santa Ana, California. He holds a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Drawing and Painting from California State University Fullerton. Creating music under the name Weird Roach, he recently completed an album titled Hello Are You There? He continues to live and create in Santa Ana, developing both visual art work and music.
