Yelena Lev-Navtikova
ARTIST
Yelena Lev-Navtikova is a multidisciplinary artist and graphic designer based in Los Angeles, originally from Minsk, Belarus, with several formative years spent in the Netherlands. Her international background, combined with an academic foundation in both architecture and painting, shapes a distinctive visual language that merges structural awareness with poetic imagination.
Holding an M.A. in Architecture and a B.A. in Painting, Lev-Navtikova creates layered surreal compositions where dreamlike landscapes, symbolic figures, and luminous spheres coexist within contemplative spaces. Her work explores themes of transformation, memory, and spiritual passage, often presenting metaphysical environments that evoke inner worlds and emotional journeys. Architectural elements subtly anchor these imagined realms, creating a balance between structure and transcendence.
Lev-Navtikova is a member of the Los Angeles Art Association (LAAA), the Westlake Village Art Guild, Cal Art League, the Association of Artists of Belarus, and the Orange County Center for Contemporary Art (OCCCA). Her work has been exhibited throughout the United States, including Laguna Art-A-Fair, the Sasse Museum of Art, and the Lancaster Museum of Art and History.
Internationally, she has collaborated with Primo Piano LivinGallery in Lecce, Italy, participating in exhibitions and the Baroque Blue – Water Path residency curated by art advisor and curator Dores Sacquegna. Her painting Ethereal Reverie received the Masterpieces Award at the Visionary Art Show in Lecce, affirming her distinctive surreal language where symbolism, imagination, and introspective storytelling converge.
