Gallery Rental

The Orange County Center for Contemporary Art is one of the longest existing co-op galleries in the United States, along with exhibiting cutting edge art exhibitions, the gallery is available for your special private or business event.

Located in the historic downtown Santa Ana Artist Village, you will be surrounded by unique architecture, reminiscent of another time.

 

The large open space main gallery is fronted by an all-glass foyer space, with high 14 foot tall open beam wooden ceiling with track lighting.

Guidelines
  1. Renter can use entire gallery space based on current exhibit, , except for the two storage areas
  2. Maximum occupancy of 175 including OCCCA supervisory staff
  3. The main gallery can hold up to 10 tables with 10 guests per table
  4. Renter is responsible for ALL event set-up, including rental of tables and chairs and services
  5. The gallery is a smoke free space. No smoking is allowed within 20 feet of the doors
  6. Artwork is available for display from the membership / or provide your own wall art if needed.
  7. Alcohol from a licensed and bonded service is allowed
  8. Catering is allowed
  9. Sound system is available for an added fee (mixer, speakers, mics, cables)
  10. The gallery does not have a stage or stage lighting
  11.  Renter is responsible for gallery clean up after the event
  12. Two staff members present during event.
  13. All event trash needs to be removed from Gallery building at the end of the event.  No trash is to be left overnight in the Gallery building.  OCCCA trash bins are not available
  14. For weddings, the Gallery will be open to renter for four (4) hours the day before the event for delivery and set-up and from Noon on the day of the event.  The Gallery will be open two (2) hours the next day for all pick-ups.
  15. No open flames, food-warming or otherwise are allowed inside the building but may be setup on the sidewalk beside and not blocking any portion of the roll-up door.
  16. Electric ovens are permitted in back gallery space.
  17. Restrooms and supplies are provided.
  18. Gallery clean-up for return of security deposit means the Gallery is returned to its original state prior to the event/
  19. Audio/video equipment is available for an additional fee and security deposit

Fees
  1. Liability Insurance is required. A rider needed can be added to your existing policy or see

  2. The non-refundable deposit guarantees date and rental fee of event
  3. Audio/video equipment is available for an additional fee and security deposit

Rates*

Charity / Non-Profit events
25% of revenue generated from event
5% of door admission fees
25% Reduced rental fee for non-profit fundraisers considered on a case-by-case basis.

Three hour rental
For meetings only
$650 **

Half day rate: (6 hours)
6 hours start to finish on one day only,
including setup, event, and breakdown/clean up
$1,800 **
$500 non-refundable deposit to secure event date

Full day rate (Weddings)
Event Ending at 11pm*
Includes time prior to event day for setup,
includes time day after event for clean up take down
$3,800 **
$500 non-refundable deposit to secure event date


Receipt of deposit locks in price if any price changes occur
